Multimedia for LabVIEW

LabVIEW toolkit for IP cameras, multimedia formats and modern codecs.

• read and write most multimedia file formats including following: matroska, 3gp, ogg, mp4 and many more
• decode video data streams using modern codecs like: h265, h264, mpeg4, mpeg2 or vp9
• IMAQ images compression into video streams using codecs such as: mpeg2, mpeg4, h263p nebo Huffyuf
• read and decode video network streams from IP cameras

Practical usage cases:
On fly compression of machine vision camera images into *.mkv container using H263p encoder. Preserve high video quality in much smaller file (compared to saving raw data).

Recording of long lasting experiments using IP cameras, that use h264 encoder. Possibility to create video file directly from encoded IP camera data without unnecessary CPU resource usage.

Decode images from IP camera network streams for further processing coupled with direct video stream muxing into video file.

Popis: Multimedia for LabVIEW is toolkit for LabVIEW programmers allowing them to read and write multimedia files supporting wide range of multimedia formats and network protocol, to decode video data network streams into IMAQ images, to encode IMAQ images using modern codecs. Toolkit gives programmers full control over processed data and features full function interface to manipulate data packets and encoders settings into detailed parameters. Library architecture allows runtime management of loaded dependency modules simplifying the Executable deployment. Library interface is using LabVIEW native datatypes including IMAQ images. There is no need for further CPU costly image conversions. Library is certified as „Compatible with LabVIEW“ from NI. Library depends on NI Vision Acquisition software (Included in every NI SW or HW license).
